Music (HS 136)

Learning Goals

This course invites high school teachers and prospective teachers to develop their own musicality through singing, rhythm exercises, and improvisation. We employ musical elements from many different cultures.

We explore the high school choral repertoire of the past and of the present and consider how singing programs might be shaped to meet the needs of high school students in the future.
