In addition to the three summer sessions, each student undertakes three kinds of independent work during the two intervening years.

 

Before completion of the program

Each student undertakes a 12-15 week internship or practicum in one or more Waldorf high schools. Working on site with experienced mentor teachers, the student begins with detailed observations and gradually works up to assisting in the classroom and eventually teaching the students.
