We review gestures inherent in music and speech (vowels and consonants) as well as those expressing mood and intention. We learn poems and forms reminiscent of ancient Egypt and Greece, as well as introduce music through tone eurythmy. We create a form for the Apollonian and Dionysian principles. Methods will include full participation in the movement work, discussion, journal writing, and a notebook containing course content and drawings of the forms. A group presentation at the end brings our work to completion.
